MO APA Event Missouri APA Conference 2002

Kansas City Metro APA Section presented the "TOURISM DISTRICT PRESENTATION and KANSAS SPEEDWAY TOUR" on Friday, July 26th, 2002 - 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Kansas Speedway, Family Center Building. 

Doug Bach, Core Manager of Special Projects for the Unified Government of Wyandotte County and Kansas City, Kansas,  discussed the planning considerations surrounding the Tourism District development, located adjacent to the Speedway.

Refreshments will be provided.

Quality of life is no longer just a public relations matter.  It is a crucial public policy concern, with a variety of economic, social, and environmental parameters.  Metro Outlook sets up a framework to analyze what it would take to achieve a rising quality of life for everyone in our region, both now and into the future.
